Whether you are a 'new-comer' to the sport, a regular shot or just needing to fine tune your skills, Salcombe Shooting School will look after your needs.
All beginner lessons will cover safe gun handling, etiquette and the basic skills needed to successfully hit different targets.
For the more experienced Gun, we offer expert advice to address a specific problem.

Lesson to include:
Use of gun, suited to individual needs, clays, ear and eye protection.
Cartridges can be purchased at the School, if bringing your own, use felt wad only please.
Practice
The School's Sporting Layout offers a complete range of targets from driven clays, using the ground's natural valley, interesting and challenging crossers and the ever popular 'rabbit trap'!
Shooting Parties
For a special event, Clay Pigeon Shooting is suitable for everyone, regardless of their ability or experience. Office Parties, Christmas Parties, Stag & Hen Parties or just a group of friends down for the weekend.
Various options available, depending on numbers, time and cost.

Game Shooting
The Schools natural valley is a perfect location to simulate all aspects of game shooting. Various targets make it an excellent training ground to sharpen your skills for the season.
In the Field/On-Shoot Instruction and loading can be provided to assist you on your important day.
Girls with Guns
More and more girls are taking up shooting or are just keen to try it out.
For Clay Targets, we have ladies guns available with low re-coil cartridges making shooting a comfortable experience! Why not get a group of girlfriends together and 'give it a go'?
Air Rifle Range
Salcombe Shooting School Air Rifle Range gives you the opportunity to test your skills on our short range targets up to 35m and then progress on to our long range for the true marksman.
We have knock-down targets and targets for zeroing in. We use High Power German 177 Air guns with powerful telescopic sights in a safe controlled environment. We have shooting stands suitable for all ages and the whole family, ideal for parties.
